Collection Requirements

Collect: 1 full gray top tube (0.5 ml minimum)

Instruction: Whole blood with anticoagulant preferred, serum (NO BARRIER TUBES) or  unopened whole blood, fluoride oxalate (gray-top) tube. Do not use alcohol solutions as a skin preparation for drawing specimens. Use a non-alcohol solution such as Betadine ® or Zephiran ®. Keep transport container tightly sealed
