Collection Requirements

Collection Tube: Light Green Top (Lithium Heparin) Tube
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL Plasma
Collection Instructions:
1.    Centrifuge the specimen and separate the plasma from cellular components within 2 hours of collection.
2.    Transfer the plasma to an aliquot tube and centrifuge a second time.
3.    Following the second centrifugation, transfer the plasma to a clean aliquot tube.
