Collection Requirements
Collection Tube: Red Top SST or Yellow Top SST Tube
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL serum
Collection Instructions
1. Ideally collect specimens between 6 AM and 10AM.
2. Centrifuge the specimen and separate the serum from cellular components within 2 hours of collection.

Submission Tube: Original collection tube
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL serum
Specimen Stability: Refrigerated 5 days, Frozen 4 weeks. Do not refreeze after thawing. Room Temperature storage is not recommended.
Transport: Refrigerated
Rejection Criteria: Hemolyzed and/or turbid specimens.
