Collection Tube: Yellow top SST        Acceptable:  Red SST or Plain Red Top
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL serum
 
Delaware Valley Hospital (DVH)
Collection Tube: Purple Top (EDTA)
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL plasma
 
Transport: Refrigerated
Rejection Criteria: Turbidity in specimens may affect test results. Do not use specimens collected in any other anticoagulants or any other body fluids.
