Collection Requirements
Collect light green top (litihium heparin) for inpatients and yellow/red top sst for outpatients. Spin and separate within 2 hours of collection. This test can be added on within 23 hours ONLY if the specimen has been refrigerated after 4 hours
Shipping and Handling Instructions
Stable at room temperature for 4 hours. Refrigerated 24 hours. Medical Oncology For tests performed at UHS Medical Oncology, refer to the handbook for specimen stability
